Are Infrared Saunas Safe to Use?
Absolutely! Infrared saunas have many health benefits, which is why I have used, and recommended them for years and will continue to use them.
Infrared saunas use 3 specific wavelengths (near, mid, and far) for optimal absorption by your body. This heat promotes cellular repair and regeneration at a manageable low heat. Many people find it an incredibly soothing and therapeutic experience to use an infrared sauna. In contrast, a traditional sauna can be a more intense, painful heat that can only be endured for small periods. And the truth is, the more you use an infrared sauna, the better the health benefits will be over time.
And unlike UV rays from the sun or tanning beds, infrared light doesn’t pose the same risk of skin damage or sunburn. Sunlight is only 52%-55% infrared, so this infrared sauna is only all the good parts of the sun’s healing light. Unlike many other traditional saunas, our sauna is also made out of safe, non-toxic materials.
Infrared saunas are considered safe for most people when used correctly! There are only some cases where you may need to reconsider, such as being pregnant, breastfeeding, or being on certain medications, etc.
